Taman Festival Bali

An abandoned theme park on Padang Galak beach north of Sanur, Bali, that opened in 1997 with a large pool, 3D cinema and laser shows. Struck by lightning and undone by the Asian financial crisis, it closed around 2000 and has been left to the jungle ever since, its ruined pavilions now covered in murals and reclaimed by vegetation.
