A remote hillside shrine in the forests of Tripura, northeast India, covered in colossal rock-cut carvings dated to around the 7th to 9th centuries. A Shiva head roughly 30 feet tall, giant Ganesha figures and scattered temple ruins lie half-swallowed by jungle, and much of the sculpture is thought to remain buried and unexcavated.
